| History has proven that global cooling has not been kind to mankind, so we better hope the earth is warming. Perhaps we should be more concerned about all the hot air emmenating from liberal politicans as a cause of man made disasters of the economic kind. Follow the money trail it leads to both sides of the aisle.

Our unexpected overnight stop at Lorne proved that spontaneity is indeed the best ingredient for a holiday. Initially we just wanted to see Erskine Falls, which is just outside the town centre, but after we had the best burgers in town (granted they start at around $10, but are worth every cent) we decided to look around for a place to stay. On such short notice we managed to find great accommodation at the Great Ocean Road Backpackers. It cost us $20 each for a room of four, and the facilities were great. Not only that but we had a great time at Ba Ba Lu Bar, which is just underneath the other backpackers in Lorne and where all the cool kids hang. It's the alternative to the Lorne Pub, which is on the opposite end of the main street. They play Spanish music and have cheap beer and of course, backpackers.
