| I agree that the economy would do better if we didn't have to spend as much just to get to work. I think the federal gasoline tax is something like 18 cent per gallon and have often wondered why this WWll Carl added:(THE FEDERAL GASOLINE EXCISE TAXES ACCUALLY BEGAN BEFORE WWII BUT SHARPLY INCREASED IN THE 1940'S)tax is still in force. Google who gets what part of the price of each gallon of gasoline. The tax man gets the biggest share. Exxon is rich not because they make a lot on each gallon, but because it sells a lot of gallons.

What makes this park so special is the brilliant white snow glistening off from the peaks. Not only does the snow make it beautiful but add the blue skies and you have entered an enchanted wonderland. Another advantage of visiting the Zion National Park during the winter time is the river. The Virgin River is higher in the winter time causing waterfalls and mist to form. Winter time is the only time you can experience both of these things.
