I've only been out of the Detroit area and here in Phoenix just over 3 years now myself. I had always thought it a little piece of paradise myself. That is until this year, this summer specifically! I figured it was hotter than it had been my first 3 summers but folks tell me it isn't so much really that I've just finally passed my 'honeymoon' stage? I guess. What's keeping me here now though and staying the course is that I know that this too shall inevitably pass and it's the price we have to pay for that other 9 months of bliss and perfect weather! Isn't anywhere that's perfect and doesn't have it's drawbacks after all.
