| After breaking the dogs into pieces and tying on a weight it was time to see if my fishing buddy was right or just pulling my leg. The very first cast was inhaled by a five pound bluefish and within fifteen minutes we had landed our maximum of blues and were heading back to the truck. True story.

Keep watering the lawn until the frost is here to stay. The lawn should be moist as it heads into winter but not saturated. Saturating the lawn will create a perfect environment for mold growth. Don't automatically assume since Labor Day has come and gone that our house should be put away.

Interstate 70 in western Colorado over Vail Pass is closed in both directions following multiple accidents in wintry driving conditions. The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) said clean up of the accidents was a work in progress and they did not have an estimate as to when the the main east west highway through the state would reopen.
