| You know people, using Triond Forum to or with your chosen friends is not only an ineffective way to communicate it is not what the Forum was created for. The forum was always problematic, but it was a good place for newbies to find help, regulars to find inspiration and just for a bit of a silly natter. Simply shutting it down is incredibly lazy. There are thousands of perfectly functionable forums on the internet and Triond could easily have picked up pointers from them.

If the dampness is evident everywhere, not just on the windows, I'd look for unusual sources of moisture getting into the building, like a small roof leak or foundation drainage problems. If it's just the windows, I'd simply live with it, or maybe put plastic film over them to simulate double glazing. Any time the indoor temperature is higher than outside, you should not need to worry about dehumidification.
