Than hold a screwdriver and remove the screws to remove the front panel. Clean the panel in hand so that it is not dirty. This reveals your filter, in case of temporary or disposable filter you don't need to exert any extra effort just replace it with a new one and put the panel back. But the things are just not that simple for permanent filters. Vacuum your filter with the help of a vacuum cleaner. If there are any stubborn dust particles than use a scrub or sponge for it. In case of permanent filter remove it and then use a water hose to clean off the dust. Remember to keep your mouth and nose covered with a mask to ward off any extra dust entering your throat.
