| As you may know, The School of Pharmacy will relocate to its new home within the Pharmacy Australia Centre of Excellence (PACE) in time for the beginning of the 2010 academic year. Next year also commemorates the Golden Jubilee of the School, which marks 50 years of pharmacy education at the University of Queensland, as well as the Centenary of UQ. Coinciding with the move to PACE will be the launch of a book which recounts the history of the school.

For some, however, this kind of concert brings to light a number of questions regarding the relationship between Church culture and secular culture, and, perhaps more importantly, the act of worship itself. Now, whether or not the Church should seek to compete with secular culture is a question deserving of a much lengthier discussion than this, so for now, suffice it to say that the Church has been called to live in the world without becoming of the world. While that can look different depending on the situation, it necessitates that the Church stay relevant to society; that it play a role in forming and creating contemporary culture, especially where our Church culture can be viewed as countercultural.
